Can the live stream be viewed at a later time?

Yes. Once the live stream has finished, the video will automatically reload on the tribute page (approx 30 mins) . The tribute page will remain available to view for up to 6 months, unless the family requests for it to be taken down earlier.

Is it possible to download a copy of the live stream video?

Yes, a high-quality video recording of the service will be provided for the family contact to download, allowing them to keep a lasting keepsake to cherish for years to come.

How do family and friends view the live stream?

A tribute page is created for your loved one’s live stream. The link will be sent to you via email, which you can easily share with family and friends who wish to watch. The live stream can be viewed on any computer, smartphone, or tablet with an internet connection.

Can the live stream be protected with a PIN for added privacy?

Yes, we can add a PIN to the live stream for enhanced privacy.

How do I watch the live stream?

Once you’ve navigated to the Tribute Page, the webcast player will be visible. The stream will begin at the scheduled time.

If the video does not appear, simply refresh the page. The refresh icon looks like a ¾ circle with an arrow and is usually located in the top left or right corner of your web browser. Click it once to reload the page.

I can hear an echo

You may experience an echo if multiple tabs or webpages are open. Please close any extra tabs to ensure only one webcast is playing.

What issues might occur during a live stream?

With any live stream, there is always a risk that internet connectivity may cause the video to freeze or drop out. If any interruption occurs, a backup recording will be uploaded to the Tribute Page on the same day.

Do viewers need any special software or equipment to watch the live stream?

No, viewers just need a device with internet access—such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer—and the provided link to watch the live stream.

What support will be available during the live stream?

Can the live stream be accessed from overseas?

Yes, the live stream can be viewed from anywhere in the world, provided the viewer has a stable internet connection.

Do I need to provide a credit card to watch the livestream?

Please be aware of recent phishing scams involving fake webcast links on social media. Vivid Stream or our Funeral directors will never request payment or banking details to access a webcast. Always take care when visiting unfamiliar URLs, and if you’re unsure, please contact us on 03 9408 3288.
